Christine’s Story
Christine grew up in Colorado and attended CU Boulder’s architectural engineering program. She moved to San Francisco after graduating, living there for 7 years before moving up to Seattle.
Duru's Story
Duru grew up in his father’s home of Istanbul, later moving to his mother’s home state of Washington. He studied at the University of Washington for both his undergrad and graduate studies.
Our Relationship
We met in 2017, while rock climbing at Seattle Bouldering Project. We hit it off immediately, bonding over our love of food and desire to travel. We had a magical time traveling in our first year together, and we both knew it was time. We were engaged in April 2018, adopted two adorable fur children, and got married August 3rd, 2019!
